There is public access to the lake, at the small dam which is located at the back side of the clubhouse grounds. 

If you wish to store a boat or other watercraft here, you need to register it with the Woodlands Homeowners Association.  Please contact the Clubhouse Manager or the Grounds Director to get a short form to do this.  For security, there is a hefty permanent chain installed, to which you can lock your own watercraft.  Boats should be stored upside down to avoid collecting rain water and snow.  Periodically, unregistered or abandoned boats will be removed, if necessary.
